Duke AED Registry

PLEASE NOTE: This is a living list - a work in progress. If you find an AED around campus that is not listed below or have a better description of an existing AED, please send its location and a brief description to duemsoutreach@duke.edu.

In the event of a CPR in progress, CALL 911 FIRST. Then, bystanders not doing CPR can locate the nearest AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) and help save the patient’s life. Duke University EMS and Duke Emergency Management have compiled this list of AEDs on Duke’s campus so that bystanders can access this list in an emergency and locate the closest AED to them in a timely manner.

We highly encourage students and staff to memorize the nearest AEDs to their classrooms/workplaces before an emergency occurs and receive training to be prepared. Please reach out to us to schedule a free training in Hands-Only CPR and AED use!
